  • The Sounds of Blackness are legends for anybody listening to quality House music in the early 90s. They are a huge Black Gospel group that have been remixed by countless House music legends including Frankie Knuckles and David Morales. Their music has lit up dancefloors throughout the underground House scene in the early 90s. 'The Pressure' for me is their masterpiece and has the most incredible lyrics ever to grace a House music record. They are so incredibly beautiful and poignant, and sung with such passion and harmony that they can bring tears to a man's eyes. Stunning life affirming House music of the very highest order.
